A monumental interactive recycling piece, "Cup City" was a 2000-square-foot complex built out of rented chain link fence panels (the same fence used to enclose the festival grounds). Over the course of the 3-day festival, September 23-25, a small army of volunteers and festival-goers collected and inserted used water bottles, cans, and cups into the fence.
